These professional corkscrews/wine keys are a little tricky to learn how to use, but once you get the hang of them, they are the best. This three-pack is a great deal, and you can keep one in your suitcase and one in your car for wine adventures.

Three wine keys/cork screws

When I first started dabbling in the wine world, I didn't think decanting wines was necessary. Now, some 20 years later, I know decanting wines for at least a few minutes before enjoying them makes a huge difference. Some palates prefer un-decanted wine, and that is okay too.

This decanter is beautiful and affordable. I've also purchased several decanters from HomeGoods, Goodwill, and other thrift stores. I also have a reel on this topic.

Please check out these two reels, (second reel) on how much of a difference good-quality wine glasses make, especially when enjoying middle- to high-end wines. This pack will set you up with sparkling wine, red, and white wine glasses.

The Riedel (pronounced ree-dl) brand is one of the best, and it's very durable and dishwasher-safe.

We enjoy drinking sparkling and white wine year-round with spicy foods, and we use sparkling wine as a palate cleanser between wines. We use this wine chiller year-round, and it is a must during the summer. I have purchased insulated freezer bags and other open-top chillers, and this one is the best. Last summer, we took a bottle of chilled Cava to our friend's dinner party an hour away. When we arrived at their home, the wine was as cold as when we pulled it out of the refrigerator.

These are always a party favorite. There are wine charms, stickers, etc., to mark your drinking glass, but they don't fall off and are helpful with stemless glasses. I usually wipe it off with a dish sponge before putting the glasses in the dishwasher, and the residue comes off easily.

We rarely have leftover wine to cork, but we do like preserving the bubbles of our sparkling wine as we enjoy it. A few times, we have preserved a bottle for a couple of days using these stoppers. Now, I carry one in my car and my purse to use at vineyards, restaurants, or friends' homes.
